Subject: Lightwave 4.0 PC: No Dongle?
Sender: owner-lightwave-l@netcom.com
Precedence: bulk
I just spoke to a couple of customer-service-types at Newtek. One of
them told me that Lightwave 4.0 PC would not use a dongle. I asked
if some alternative form of copy protection had been chosen, but the
person did not know.
Lee? Can you or someone else comment on what the current copy
protection plans are for Lightwave 4.0? Thanks.
Also, I was told that a cross-platform upgrade from 3.5 stand-alone
to 4.0 would allow the user to continue using 3.5 on the Amiga. Can
anyone confirm this?
